who we are
We are David and Austin Strohl, a husband & wife team based just outside of Portland, Oregon. Both of us are trained artists (we met at the Savannah College of Art & Design), and we take great joy in living a life wherein we are constantly making. When not photographing beautiful weddings, David is the program director for the photography program at Mt. Hood Community College, while Austin is an experienced photo stylist and maker-extraordinaire. We embrace creativity and that exciting, joyful energy that comes with new ideas and projects.
As parents of two wonderful kids, we have learned to love the easily overlooked details of a joyful life – the small touch, the knowing winks from across the room, the messy house at the end of a fun-filled day – the things that really tell the story of a complex, beautiful, and intimate relationship.
